(I) Ice & Snow Fun Competition
Ice Events
- 500m Speed Skating Race (Individual)Competition Rules: Participants shall compete in a 500m speed skating race. Rankings shall be determined by the shortest total time upon completion of the race (participants need to provide their own skating shoes).
- Speed Skating Relay Race (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 4 members per team. The race shall be conducted in relay format, with each member skating one lap (250m). Rankings shall be determined by the shortest total time (hockey skates shall be used for the relay; the organizing committee will provide skating shoes, and participants may also use their own).
- Ice Disc Challenge (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 4 members per team (no gender restriction). Teams shall compete against each other in pairs. Each team has 4 ice discs, and each participant throws one disc. The goal is to get the disc closer to the target ball. After one round, if any team's ice disc is closer to the target ball than the opponent's, the team shall score points. Each match consists of 6 rounds, with teams taking turns to start the round. The final score is the cumulative points of all 6 rounds.
- Ice Sled Relay Race (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 4 members per team. The race covers a distance of 20 meters; athletes shall propel forward with double poles and compete in a 迎面 relay format. Rankings shall be determined by the shortest total time.
Snow Events
- Snow Rescue (Pair)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up. One student sits on a snow tube, while the other student pulls the snow tube forward 25 meters on the snow track. The rescue task shall be completed within the specified distance (no deviation from the track is allowed). Rankings shall be determined by the shortest total time.
- Snow Carpet (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 6 members per team. The track is 15 meters long. Four members stand on a 7×3m snow carpet, with 4 team members holding each corner of the carpet respectively. Upon the starting signal, the team leader chants slogans, and all 6 members put their hands on each other's shoulders and jump forward simultaneously; the 4 members holding the carpet walk forward. Timing stops when the carpet reaches the finish line. Rankings shall be determined by the shortest total time.
- Snow Caterpillar Race (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 6 members per team. The track is 30 meters long. All 6 members ride the caterpillar toy together to move forward, holding the handles tightly without releasing them. The caterpillar shall not drag on the ground, and no member shall lift their feet off the ground. Timing stops when the tail of the caterpillar crosses the finish line (the race must be completed within one's own lane; entering another team's lane and interfering with others will result in disqualification, and 5 seconds shall be added to the total time for each violation).
- Snow Tug-of-War (Team)Competition Rules: Participants shall form teams to sign up, with 6 members per team. Two teams compete wearing provided gloves. Each team stands behind their respective boundary line. Upon the 口令,teams pull the rope, and the team that pulls the center line into their boundary wins.
(II) Ice & Snow Amusement Carnival
Ice Events
- Curling Target Throwing: Participants hold a curling stone with one hand and throw it from a distance of 20 meters from the center of the target. A corresponding seal will be awarded if the stone lands within 1 meter of the center.
- One-Leg Ice Cart: Participants hold double poles, place their feet on the ice cart, slide 10 meters straight and return to the starting point to obtain a corresponding seal.
- Ice Spinning Top: Participants wrap a whip around the groove of the top, place it on the ice, pull the whip quickly, and tap the top intermittently with the whip to keep it spinning for 1.5 minutes to get a corresponding seal.
- Ice Hockey Shooting: Participants dribble forward 10 meters with a hockey stick and shoot at the goal. A successful shot into the goal earns a corresponding seal.
- Ice Sled Experience: Participants propel forward 10 meters with double poles and return to the starting point to obtain a corresponding seal.
Snow Events
- Snow Hockey Shooting: Starting from a distance of 20 meters from the goal, participants dribble past poles in an S-shaped route with a hockey stick, then shoot 3 meters from the goal. A successful shot into the goal earns a corresponding seal.
- Snowball Target Throwing: Participants hold sandbags and throw them, with 3 chances per person. A corresponding seal will be awarded if the total score of rings reaches 8 or above.
- Snow Eagle & Chick: Every two participants form a team, and two teams compete against each other. One participant (A) sits on a snow tube and slides, while the other (B) pulls the snow tube to run. Each team has 10 sandbags; A throws sandbags to attack the other team, and B can only dodge, with only 1 or 2 sandballs thrown at a time. 1 point is awarded for hitting A, and 2 points for hitting B. The match lasts 2 minutes, and the team with the higher score wins. In case of a tie, a 1-minute overtime is held, and the first team to score in overtime wins. The two participants of the winning team can obtain a corresponding seal.
- Snow Caterpillar: Every six participants form a group, and the track is 30 meters long. All 6 members ride the caterpillar toy together to move forward, holding the handles tightly without releasing them. The caterpillar shall not drag on the ground, and no member shall lift their feet off the ground. A corresponding seal will be awarded when the tail of the caterpillar crosses the finish line.
- Cross-Country Skiing Experience: Participants wear skis, propel forward 30 meters with ski poles, and return to the starting point to obtain a corresponding seal.
- Snow Bowling: Participants throw a ball within the boundary to hit the water bottles in front, with 3 throwing chances per person. A corresponding seal will be awarded if all water bottles are knocked down.
V. Registration Method
- Students participating in the Ice & Snow Fun Competition shall fill out the registration form via the link before 17:00 on December 12. For team events, participants shall form teams first, and the team leader shall register via the link. After registration, use the HIT APP to join the competition notification group for follow-up updates. - Students participating in the Ice & Snow Amusement Carnival can go to the Track and Field Stadium of the First Campus to collect the stamp card during the activity time without prior registration. Students interested in the activity can use the HIT APP to join the notification group for follow-up updates.QR code of the activity notification group:
VI. Reward Measures
- Ice & Snow Fun Competition: The top 15 individual participants will be awarded, with 1st-2nd place as First Prize, 3rd-5th as Second Prize, 6th-10th as Third Prize (certificates and material rewards); 11th-15th as Excellence Awards (certificates only). The top 10 teams will be awarded, with 1st place as First Prize, 2nd-3rd as Second Prize, 4th-6th as Third Prize (certificates and material rewards); 7th-10th as Excellence Awards (certificates only).
- Ice & Snow Amusement Carnival: Collect different numbers of stamps to exchange for exquisite prizes and extra running check-in times at the prize exchange counter. Prizes will be replaced by secondary prizes once the original ones are exhausted until all prizes are distributed. Each stamp card can only be exchanged once.
Collecting stamps from 10 check-in points: First Prize (exquisite prize + 3 extra check-in times for Trail Run)
Collecting stamps from 8 or more check-in points: Second Prize (exquisite prize + 2 extra check-in times for Trail Run)
Collecting stamps from 5 or more check-in points: Third Prize (exquisite prize + 1 extra check-in time for Trail Run)
Each student can only redeem the prize once!
VII. Other Regulations
All participants must be in good health and free from illnesses.
Due to activities on ice and snow surfaces, participants shall wear non-slip shoes or snow boots. The soles shall not have items that may cause harm to others, such as anti-slip chains or ice claws.
Take adequate warm-up measures during outdoor activities to prevent frostbite and falls.
The Organizing Committee of the event reserves the right to interpret any unforeseen matters not covered in these regulations.
